Soap Box Derby

Riley participated in the soap box derby at our church this past week, and we enlisted Grandpa's help to design and decorate the car. Grandpa did all the cutting, but Riley helped with sanding and painting. They decorated it blue and gold for Georgia Tech (and I added the number 9 for Kasey Kahne!!) He had a great time racing, each car got to race two times, and one of his races was against his cousin Jacob. He had fun, and thankfully he isn't too competitive yet, though he had a pretty pitiful look on his face when his car lost. He got a trophy for participation, and that was as good as first place to him!
