face painting and balloon animals

So, entertaining two small children can seem like a lot at times, but just mix in a little face paint and some silly balloons and my kids are in heaven!! Riley chose Speed Racer for his face and Kit acted like she couldn't talk, so the nice lady made her into a princess. Riley's balloon started off as a sword, but didn't survive the evening, Kit's doggy didn't survive the car ride home! The pink lumpy balloon is Kit's. They both refused to let me wash their faces that night, so rather than fight I let them go to bed and school the next day with their paint still on. Riley's survived pretty well, but Kit looked like she had a bruise right in the middle of her forehead!

Okay, so it's only taken me a month to do this, but that's not really a surprise, now is it!?! I don't have 5 folders on my computer because I am so OCD that I burn them onto a cd every July and January, so this is from the last cd. This is one Sunday morning in May, I had to give the kids a chance to wear their Easter clothes to Grandmama and Granddaddy's church. I hate this picture because I look goofy and both of the kids look stoned! Oh, and you can see Lulu's behind and David's truck!!
