It's only February and Riley has already had a busy year, he had his tonsils and adenoids taken out on the first of this month, and he is still recovering from it. He was a trooper as they rolled him back for surgery, but that was the last time for the last three weeks! He is doing well now, his throat isn't sore at all, but he has had a tummy ache for the last 4 days, praying that it's clearing up!

Getting ready to roll down the hall with Football Emmett, his new build a bear that he made just for his trip to the hospital. It has a recording of Kit and me telling Riley that we love him. Rolling out to the car, I know I didn't get it focused-but I think it's obvious how pitiful he looks compared to his before picture!

On a more pleasant note, he also got to go ice skating for the first time in January; we went with Uncle Dan, Aunt Summer, Emilie, and Elaina. He has only been roller skating twice, so I was a little worried about how sore and wet he and I would be by the end of this excursion. He and I did well together though, and he did even better with his Uncle Dan. We all had fun and froze, but managed to stay on two feet for the most part! He was also really excited about his spiked hair, I'm not sure if you can see it that well in the pictures.
