Our Halloween festivities started on Friday this year, Kit had a character dress up activity that I was able to go to and help her make a self portrait. Riley had a field trip to Burt's Pumpkin Farm which I also got to go to, I'm not sure who was more excited to see me, Kit or Riley-it was a great treat for me too!! We had fun at the pumpkin farm with Riley's class and got a few pictures, but we had gone to another pumpkin farm a few weeks earlier where we took lots of pictures! We stopped at the Fudge Factory in Dahlonega and got Riley's hair cut at Woody's before racing back to Lula to pick Kit up, I had asked Riley if he wanted to go to the store first or get Kit and he said pick up Kit so she could be a car rider that day!! He can be such a sweet boy! She was thrilled, she told me all about the lady on the roof who told her she would be car rider (a four year old's perception of the intercom : ) ) We went to the Parker's Halloween costume party on Saturday Riley and Kit were Thing 1 and 2, and since I couldn't actually find a Dr. Seuss hat I went as just a cat. But for Halloween Riley went as Iron Man and Kit was a skeleton girl because we couldn't find a good ghost costume (and she didn't want me to make her one out of a sheet). We waited to trick or treat on Sunday-because that was actually Halloween-though the rest of Lula did it on Saturday since the powers that be in Gainesville decided that trick or treating on
the Sabbath 
was not cool...
but Kit had a blast handing out the candy!
