Kit's Haircut

Most of you have probably already seen pictures with Kit's new hair cut, but I wanted to post it anyway. I had forgotten how long her hair actually was! Our neighbor Dana cut her hair-and did a wonderful job, but it was hard to watch all that hair get chopped off. Dana put it in a pony tail first, and I have actually saved it-though I'm not sure why or what to do with it!?! Kit did a great job sitting still, though she kept trying to look at herself in the mirror! Riley on the other hand was underfoot the entire time trying to see everything. I love her hair, she looks so grown up!

Like mother, like daughter...... 25 years later and Kit is sporting the same birthday morning outfit and hairstyle as her mommy!!

Car Show

I'm still a few months behind on posts, but I'll catch up some time in the next 10 years I guess! My brother Dan took Riley to a car show at the High Museum back in May (same day as the pageant). Apparently this was the most upscale 'car show' they could go to, I guess the fact that it was in a museum should have given it away. Anyway Dan said there were cars there that were insured for $12 million, and the people working there got worked up if anyone so much as pointed their hand at a car and it went over the roped off section! They had a great time though, Riley loves any and all time spent with his uncle, and they got to see some amazing cars so it was definitely a good outing for both the little kid and the big kid!!
It's probably pretty easy to pick out which picture Riley took, it's just a little fuzzier than the rest! Dan wanted to get their picture together and wasn't happy because as he put it 'the fat lady wouldn't get the hell out of the way! There were lots more cars, but it takes my computer forever to upload to the blog, so here are a few of them!!!
