This painting is by Riley, it is the two of us and a rainbow because we like them! Since I am so obnoxiously sentimental this one is getting framed as soon as I can buy a frame!!
This is Kit's writing practice, her teacher wrote the first one (duh!), helped Kit on the second try, and the last one Kit wrote all by herself!! I know it's rough looking, but she is only 3!!
This is Riley's work from Sunday Cool, and yes I spelled that correctly. At Lakewood it is called Sunday cool, and Riley sure thinks it's cool! I guessed he was too busy to write his whole name, but he got the message of their lesson.
The kids are both doing great at school, Riley still has some trouble following directions and too much talking, but his teacher said this is normal for the beginning of kindergarten. Kit has become the super helper for her teachers, and she is obsessed with being the line leader, which is funny and a pain because she wants to do it ALL the time. She'll get mad if Riley runs past her to get in the car first because SHE is the line leader!! This leads to Kit threatening to put Riley in time out, which ultimately leads to wrestle mania in the attempt to get in the car at the same time-through the same door! I'm doing well, we are off to a good year at school, though we have our hands full with 16 kids. I started back to class and we have another great babysitter, the kids are already in love with her, though Kit played her the first night and managed to push bedtime back an hour later!** I also want to throw out a huge CONGRATULATIONS to a girlfriend from college who will be getting married soon! I'm not sure if it will embarrass her if I put her name, so I won't do that.**

i think that kit's people drawing is amazing. neither of my kids draw shapes/people. phillip only draws tornadoes
