School started last week, and Riley is now in first grade (wow do I feel old!) and Kit is in pre K. They are both up at Lula Elementary now, which is great because Kit needed to get some separation from me! It has been difficult for me, I miss not being able to walk to the next classroom and give her a kiss or just hear her yell "hey mommy"! She is enjoying it, though she is definitely testing her boundaries. Both kids have wonderful teachers and they really like their teachers, and I can only pray that their teachers like them as well!
Riley has already brought home spelling words, which I wasn't expecting yet. But he proceeded to spell every word correctly, so hopefully we're off to a good start!!
I also included their first day pics from 2008 and 2009, it's crazy how much they've grown in the two years we have lived here!
